About the event
Ser Serpas (b. 1995) loves betas and hates homework. She went to Columbia University and pined. She is a sculptor, poet and aspiring dog.
Candace Williams is a progressive middle school humanities educator and robotics coach by day. By night and subway ride, she’s a poet. Her work has appeared or is forthcoming in the PEN Poetry Series, Hyperallergic, Lambda Literary Review, Copper Nickel, and the Brooklyn Poets Anthology (Brooklyn Arts Press, 2017), among other places. Candace's first chapbook, Spells for Black Wizards, is a winner of the TAR Chapbook Series and is out from The Atlas Review. http://www.candace-williams.com/
Parissah Lin is an educator, researcher, and media maker. She is a founding member of the Yellow Jackets Collective, a queer intersectional and interdisciplinary collective of East Asians collaborating towards radical futures that centralize marginalized bodies. She spends a lot of time angry while crying.
